LP ALBUMS/45s/78RPM RECORDS

Audio recorded on first shellac then vinyl discs dates back to the late 1800s. Most records contain music you can find at much higher quality and cheaper than transferring. However, some records contain family recordings or personal musical performances. These are worth preserving by converting the analog audio to digital.

Our transfer rate for records is $35 per 80 minutes of content. This is based on the maximum capacity of a CD being 80 minutes.

The price includes the capture to digital, basic editing and breaking longer content into tracks for easier navigation through the material.

REEL to REEL AUDIOTAPE

Dating back to the late 1920s and very popular in the 1960s, reel to reel audio tape was used for music, concerts and recordings of family. The quality varies by the tape speed used and the methods for capturing audio.

8 TRACK TAPE

We do not offer 8 Track tape transfer.

Created in 1964, 8 Track tape was more convenient to use since the tape was enclosed in a cartridge.

Very little home memories were recorded on 8 track tape so the demand for transfer is very low.
